Reusing materials and repairing products has always been very normal for me. I got that from my father received. As I saw more of the world, I was amazed at how much material had already been used in large buildings,  infrastructure and means of transport. I already wondered then whether I would ever run out of materials.  I started working in construction because a lot of materials were used in that world. By opting for renovation projects, at least a large part of existing buildings was reused. Unfortunately, a lot of finishing material still disappears into the container and a lot of new material is still added to buildings. There are now a number of companies that trade in materials that are released from old buildings and reused elsewhere. Used wood is also sold on the private market. My neighbor in Rotterdam is my great inspiration and I have been buying my second-hand wood there for years. I believe this concept can also work in the municipality of Lansingerland.
